Thanks, never really thought about how (the horribly thing) DST worked in the other hemisphere... Makes sense, now I actually somewhat have.
JST +9 -> AEDT +11 -> HST -10 (14) -> PST -8 (16). Even with the Hawaii gotcha yeah...
