Anime directors are planning to make an anthology film. Then it doesn't always work out. why is that?

Is there a casual/slang term in Japanese for an old geezer who's an hardcore otaku? I know terms like erojiji and such but there are more referred to old men who are just perverted in general, but what about perverted old otaku? lol

So as the question states, is おたくじじい a proper term to describe an old geezer otaku or is there a better alternative?
