saw this discussion about Kimi no na wa and it's not the first time I see people finding some weird "global release" with songs changed and subtitles liberally edited by the "official" distributor to mean things different from original intent
I'm like "where do y'all get these shitty versions?" but then I realize they got the official licensed dubs or subs which companies ask money for
then, as semi-professional movie critics (these guys are just tech reviewers who do these movie podcasts on the side, and anime is definitely not their specialty) should know that this stuff happens, and get the good versions, like everybody else who values this type of stuff
it's lame to see such half-assed review attempts from supposedly movie critics
