For reference, the definition of the word "pinto" is
Marked with spots of white and other colors; mottled; spotted.
It can also be used to refer to a piebald horse which has irregular patches of two colors.
@Memor-X Actually, i'm describing how things used to be long ago. It wasn't really until I started watching blu-rays that I ever really noticed white subtitles in any licensed translation. I think I might have seen white with color coded outlines in a fansub during a convention once or twice before then though.
@Tonepoet ahhhh, well SBS still uses that format because at the end of an episode of VS Arashi they have in the subtitles who did the translation and a copyright and it says
> Copyright SBS 2018
@Tonepoet she looks super cute like that. a shame she's not gay and i'm a guy
@Memor-X If it's any consolation, it is not too difficult to imagine Sailor Mars as Tuxedo Mask, especially given how Rei argues with Usagi in a manner similar to how Mamoru did.
@Proxy good somewhat. didn't get to watch anime because people kept screwing with my time but i at least i got to play a bit of Tales of Symphonia and holy fuck the twist. of you play it it take note of the lore and remember it for when the twist occurs
@Memor-X it was okay. had to take care of friends cat. Also i have continued to play bayonetta, it is a really good game but a bit hard. Or maybe i am just bad at the game
I've noticed that all the various NerveGear iterations in Sword Art Online have three LED's on the left side, labeled POW, WAN, and BLK.
I think it's safe to say that POW is the power, and WAN is the internet connection. What is BLK?
When Gendo tries to merge Adam's Embryo with Rei to start his version of Third Impact, Rei rejects Gendo stating that Shinji needs her from inside EVA Unit 01, and that she is not a puppet of Gendo's any longer. What happened after that is cryptic to me, I'm still trying to piece it together.
