the first one we can really only speak of average and expected use so i'm not sure on what data there is about that

@AndrewT. i seem to recall asking a meta question on asking about merch maintenance and repair but it was turned down. though i think this was before lifehacks

i think lifehacks shows that it could work (though less lifehacky answers) but we'd need the moderation to stop it becoming just spam seeds

might suggest it again sometime with some supporting evidence on why it could benefit the site
