was talking to a friend today while my harddrive backup was running. she was surprised at how anime piracy sites are so paranoid about bots with you needing to pass so many captchas. she said that if the page was visited by a bot the ad would run and make the site money, a bot isn't probably going to download and most sites lock downloading behind creating an account anyway and a human would know to DMCA the entire site, not individual pages
