@Memor-X It's tricky since Final Fantasy VII is so different from Madoka Magica, and Madoka has a very small cast, so the casting is harder.

However, I will say that the dynamic is much more complicated than just that one element, and since most timelines were erased for one reason or another anyway...

I'm also considering Hitomi on the basis that she was never really important, just like how Cloud was never really important (well, before the events of the game anyway. I mean, he effectively assumed the identity of Zack!)

The other thing about it is that Hitomi, is something of a good friend and ultimate traitor to Sayaka, even though she does not mean to be, which is similar to Cloud's relationship to Aeris, x.

@Tonepoet i recall reading that in regards to Cloud assuming Zack's identity it wasn't a conscience choice. After the events at the Mako Rector Hojo experimented on both Cloud and Zack but Clould was a failure. Zack escapes with Cloud who seems to be in a vegetative state and in Crisis Core when Zack is cornered by SOLIDER and fights to the death the DMW System in the same was actually a in universe system that went haywire and transferred Zack's identity into Cloud

like the original game, at least how i recall, seems to imply that Cloud assumed Zack's identity to honor his memory and did it so long that he ended up forgetting his own past. but obviously there is cannon conflict with the original game and the extended universe

like how is it we only ever see Reno, Rude and Tseng when at the very least we know Cissnei was still alive (quite sure the other Turks were too), why didn't Cloud mention Genesis encountering Sephiroth considering that he remembered everything else right when he wasn't there and where in the world is Balmora?

i assume the remake will correct this but i also hope we get some cameo guest characters for the party like Shelke

if you watch enough different genres and styles of anime, you'll know from the cover art and the average rating if it's worth a look

if not, just start watching, and yes, 2-3 episodes in is enough to find out if you still wanna keep watching

if someone says "you just gotta sit through the first 170 boring episodes and when they get to the meat of it around ep 230, then it gets really good", judge for yourself if you're ready for such a wild time investment which may or may not pay off

Mob Psycho 100 is pretty stupid, and not in an entertaining way. The story is dumb. The jokes are largely unfunny, stupid humour. The characters are morons. It's certainly not on par with One Punch Man and, frankly, it's the worst thing I've reviewed by Bones. If you liked One Punch Man you may want to give it an episode or two. Maybe it'll work better for you than it did for me. But, for myself, I give it a 3/10. Next week I'll look at Tales of Zestiria the X.

it's a pretty old series, people probably translated it into every possible language by now

and all the drug names don't matter anyway

drugs and diseases in that show are basically divided into very common or highly unusual

in either case, the thrilling thing is what happens to the patients and the doctors, not the names of the things

anyway, it seems like people's tastes are pretty different and where a person might have an opinion which matches my own on any given series, they'll probably have a very diverging with mine point of view on something else

it's hard to find like-minded viewers without some profile matching

MAL lets you match with individual users but it doesn't let you search by the most matching lists

you'd expect that functionality, but alas
