@Darjeeling I'm halfway through code geass R2. Had to leave it midway cuz of my exams. And yes. Code Geass is actually vey similar to Guilty Crown. Just hope the end will be happy, unlike GC. Still have 3 weeks till my exams end :( Then I can finish it in peace. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

and even if they went back to their own p;anet you'd think that'll stop them? they were planning on using Homura to get to Madoka so they could control her and restart the previous energy collection system they used

@ColdFire if you are refering to the Incubator's Plan in Rebellion they wanted to understand how the Law of Cycles worked then control it. chnaces are they'd find some loop hole like how Homulilly could exist but inside Homura's Soul Gem.

and Madoka's Wish was actually to defeat Witches before they are born. the extreme step is to destroy all girls in the universe since it's girls who become Magical Girls who then become Witches

likewise another extreme step is to wipe out the Incubators but this is Madoka who used her wish (in the first timeline) to save a cat. she's not going to cause Genocide

@Memor-X @ColdFire It's not just time but information. By the time Madoka made her wish, she knew enough about the Magical Girl system to make a halfway decent one. It should also be remembered that Kyubei targets such young girls specifically because they don't think things out very rationally.

@Tonepoet true about what Madoka knew since for the most part any magical girl isn't told that the witches they believe are evil are just other Magical Girls. and yes your right about the Incubator's targeting and you can expand that to his very appearance, Mami was targeted when she was about to die, Kyoko was targeted when her family was starving, Sayaka may have met him well before but he appeared at the right time after she was chewed out by Kyosuke and Homura was morning Madoka

@Tonepoet well i think he can but just wont because it won't make sense to use up so much energy to grant a wish that ain't going to be paid back by the energy they collect when a Magical Girl becomes a Witch.

as for your deleted post, yes Madoka's wish only went half-way

she wanted to erase the witches herself. the rules/laws of reality would stand in her way since she can't be in 2 places at once if 2 witches at difference places in the universe were born so the universe rewrote itself. however the possibility for a witch to be born has to remain for Madoka to then erase so for most people (other than Homura) they never existed
