It's tricky to explain. A person may have a different body and histories across the various dimensions, but they share the same soul, more or less. If you run across the same person once in one dimension, it's likely that they'll feel some déjà vu towards you if you meet them in another, even when circumstances never allowed you to meet before in the later dimension otherwise.
@Tonepoet i am ware of that, i'm just saying that the Clow Reed that shows up in Card Captor Sakura is the same Clow Reed, not a different body with a shared soul
I'm not actually sure if the show ever got far enough along to actually get to Clow Reed though and that's the extent of my direct experience with the series.
By which I mean Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I suppose it's also true of xxxholic but it's not like I watched that through.
@Tonepoet if i recall the second season involving Sakura turning the Clow Cards into Star/Sakura Cards (they were called Star Cards in the original Dub) that boy who was causing the trouble to push Sakura to transform Clow Cards is Clow Reed. i didn't see the end of that season properly because it was on normal TV but i recall after transforming the Light and Dark Cards he reveals himself as Clow Reed and legitimizing all his actions in wanting Sakura to take ownership of the Cards
@Tonepoet not like the DVDs were a bad thing. Black Cat each volume had a reversible cover so for a typical ~24 episode series you'd get ~6 unique artworks. 12 if they were reversible and there were some nice extras on the DVDs, like with Trinity Blood you get a Tarot Card Set. also if you go by what @ToshinouKyouko's link talks about you don't have to worry about a sudden change in quality
but yeh, if you missed it you had to wait for re-runs
@Tonepoet VCRs were a conspiracy by the media companies by releasing a device that ate the VHS Tapes forcing you to replace them
I wasn't even considering Crunchyroll. I was just thinking that now that dvds are typically sold in seasonal box sets, they're much more affordable on a per episode basis now.
Though I will admit that the individually sold volumes had better box art back then than the bundled packages we hae now.
@Tonepoet yeh. and it's a shame i can't find a reliable website that archives the covers. i found one a long time ago that had Speed Grapher, Witch Hunter Robin, Trinity Blood and Ergo Proxy but they didn't have Black Cat
Also it's a shame to learn that Crunchyroll is gyping their paying customers. Thankfully, I can tolerate advertisements and 480p, so I'm not among them. XP
@Darjeeling generally danbooru lists the artists and they do group images by artists and it's possible the artist you find there shows up in pixiv when you manually search for them

@ToshinouKyouko good also. aside from Monster Monpiece coming out i developed a PHP Script at work which analyzes Database Objects, outputting a list of every table, function, stored procedure and view used in a inputted stored procedure. it'll shorten a couple months worth of work to about a week
@ToshinouKyouko when you do it might be possible to wrapper the process to then accept an external input, like a Vertex Map from something like GIMP or Adobe 3DS Max

@ToshinouKyouko 3D can be really good but it's complicated, more so when you then got to rig up a 3d model to code. 2D can simpler, especially when you're dealing with sprites

so Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and The Mysterious Journey and Danganronpa 1+2 came in though Nier: Automata - Day One Edition hasn't came in yet. also got Monster Monpiece though steam (f you Australian Rating Board who refused it classification when Europe and American were fine with it. i swear this R18+ rating utterly useless)
