I guess the real problem is that I know my list would never actually be complete.

Even if I added everything I've watched in the past 3 years or so since I last updated it, the list was already missing dozens of shows.

I'd remember them if I saw them, but I don't really care to search them out

So if I can't have a reasonably complete list anyway, I'm not sure how much use there is having a list that's 90% complete vs. (say) 60% or vs. no list at all

I think I'll attempt to update it over winter break. Depending on how that goes, I may get rid of it or may keep it updated.

it got too annoying when I was still keeping track of individual episodes

at the time I was watching about 50 shows, and I got fed up with having to click the buttons a dozen times every day

especially considering I didn't have a stable internet connection then either (though it was better than now)

I guess I could just go through every TV anime released since 2000 or so and add them individually. That's less than 3000 series, so it wouldn't take that long, and I should really know all of them at least by name. That would catch most things I might have missed.

The main thing I'd potentially want to use it for is to find things that I haven't seen yet. But at least on MAL when I was using it, there was no way to limit searches to things which aren't on your list, so AFAIK it wouldn't help with that.
