@ton.yeung: not sure (being a clueless student who wanted to go into academia). Ideally, I'll probably end up in some job running regressions and the such for people (although my computer skills are kind of sketchy compared to, idk, CS majors). Then again, some basic knowledge of East Asian languages seems hypothetically useful professionally.

It'd be more useless (compared to some basic German skills) if, idk, I ended up doing something more related to Europe/etc. academically, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
