@NapoleonWilson I've considered proposing an "entertainment identification" site several times before. It solves many of the problems associated with identification questions. Specifically, it simplifies the meta policies (since ID questions often need a lot of meta discussion) and eliminates the "problem" of long-time users becoming bored of such questions.
The main reason I didn't do it is because I'm actually quite happy with the status quo on these questions. While some long-time users get bored of them, they can just ignore the tag, and others (like me) don't. It also remains an easy way for interested new users to gain rep (something we'd otherwise have major problems with).
I think most of the time we can handle them quite well with our current policies, and moving the questions off-site would probably hurt our efforts of community-building in the long term. In addition, the amount of work we'd have to do to make such a site work doesn't seem worthwhile, especially given the likely opposition we'd face from several notable critics of identification questions.
Even if we went through all that, there's no guarantee that identification questions would end up getting better answers on average; in fact, a case could be made that moving them to a separate site with very disjoint expertise and a smaller community would probably hurt them. So it's really hard to see any real benefit in the end.
@MaskedMan I really wish people didn't use "Primarily Opinion-based" as a proxy for "I don't know the answer" (or even "I don't know the answer and I don't think anyone else does")
If you don't know the answer, don't answer, but don't close it for a nonsensical reason. If you're pretty sure no one knows the answer, then write an answer explaining why. In neither case should the question be closed.
I also wish it was possible to contest the close votes more directly. I had to use the workaround of first casting a close vote to get the question closed and then cast a reopen vote. Of course, if there were less than 4 close votes when I came along, it would be slightly more inconvenient.
My request is simple: Many times, there will be a question where some people feel like it should be closed. At the same time, I'll feel like it's a perfectly legit question, and it should therefore NOT be closed. Right now, I have to wait till it gets enough close votes (which it always does for ...
Still one of the most desired feature requests, and it's marked status-completed even though it really isn't (the review queue is a really bad approximation in practice).
The question How is Armament Haki obtained or learned? is closed as primarily opinion based, because of an incorrect assumption that primarily opinion based means "we don't know the answer yet".
Based on this meta post, questions whose answers are not yet revealed should be left open. Hence, I ...
I only have the anime to go on so maybe there's an explanation in the manga. It seems clear that Ichigo is stronger than Rukia was in episode 1 at the point of his first battle with Renji. In fact it seems like Ichigo may have been stronger as soon as he became a soul reaper, but based on Rukia's...
Law beta hit 100% commitment. The beta could start as early as Tuesday.
I remain dubious that it will actually be a Q&A site for "legal professionals and students" like the description says; it's much more likely to turn into a legal advice site in my estimate.
Off the top of my head: - Waifu - Zombie survival - Horror games - Oregon Trail (18+ edition) - Video Game development - Attack on titan Anime vs. Manga
Oregon Trail = Somehow it managed to attract a crowd of what was probably 500 - 1000 people to watch the panel play the game in a really retarded way in the middle of the night. It was hilarious.
Video Game development: - Artists work that ass off for little pay. - Everybody hates programming, but they make the most. - Q/A is not a fun job. (yeah, I knew that already) - Many project managers started as Q/A.
i was told about this scene and i really need t find the name of this anime...in this scene a girl with blue hair has her heart ripped out by a little girl...in an abandoned church i guess........can anyone please tell me about it?it would be really helpful...please tell me the name of the anime,...
I remember watch an mecha anime around 2004 about a bunch of students with the powers that are represented in rings/halos when they use their power their eyes show the rings in their colours. the main character is a male student with the power to create like a teleportation portal with blue rings...
So I was watching an anime (like 6 years ago) and I can't remember the name.
It was about fighting, there were people fighting on an arena, and I remember a scene when a guy(a boss) appeared carrying a huge arena with him.I can't really remember anything else but you can hopefully help me.

> Serious question, how do they kill said parasite if they can't engulf it? >> Eosinophils are essentially white blood cell suicide bombers. They load up on the nastiest stuff around, get next to the parasite, and pop. >>> ALLAHU AKHBAR
@ʞɹɐzǝɹ cool, third season to Working!! or atleast that's what it claims when it says Sequal to the TV Series (which has 2 seasons). no Aria though so i guess i'm waiting
@Taisho this was a weird prediction even by Waka's standards. if you got time to Dance Waka you got time to kill off some Demon instead of letting us do all the work so you can get into Yamoto
@Taisho the reason why Hitomi doesn't fit is because she stole Kyosuke from Sayaka and Kyoko is not letting her let him go so she can keep Sayaka for herself (all apart of Kyoko's plan to score a Wifey)
@ton.yeung don't have PS+ but if your unsure do it through your PS3/PS4, if they are compromised then you changing your password anywhere else wont mean a thing anyway
so found out on the weekend that CSS in an iframe can do weird javascript stuff. took me hours to fine the CSS rule which was royaly screwing up the Wordpress Backend Editor text box....also why does every theme developer keep thinking they need to alter the editor's styles anyway? you have a dam preview button to see how the page looks on the site! if your going to make your users butt lazy then make the theme for wordpress.com
@ToshinouKyouko kinda belated reply but good morning *starts throwing piggys*
@LoganM should i be running @Taisho commands in this room when uploading or is there a better place for that
@ton.yeung no idea. look at my friends list on the PS3 however you, @ʞɹɐzǝɹ and @SeptianPrimadewa are no longer on there so i dare say the invite expired. i can resend it if you want?
Ar no SUrge Plus comes out on the 2nd of July....still no sight of even a standard edition for PAL, looking a lot like HtoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary where PAL was jibbed a release because of the DLC Region Lock (and NISA's own stupid decision to lock out European Customers) still given that this is a PSVita re-release with all the previous DLC i'm going to assume that there wont be any more DLC coming out for it.
i can only pray that either PAL does get at least a standard edition or that this AusPost forwarding service works with NISA (as in they wont outright cancel my order)
Would anyone have any problems with images of a natural Holo from Spice and Wolf being uploaded? (natural = her being naked with her privates covered). in my opinion i think their fine given you don't see anything you don't normally see in the anime/manga
