Well, I don't know how to deal with answers left by new users on questions which don't get any authoritative answer since we don't have access to the sources, or the answer would require serious digging.

Except for truly crap answers, there are answers which actually answers the question, but in an unsatisfying manner

I have no basis to downvote them or to delete the answer

what's wrong with the one you showed is that that's Lelouch, a guy and that image isn't even Fem Lelouch

not surprising, my mum had the exact same TV and it did the same thing a couple fo years ago, difference is her's is either on or on standby 24/7, mine is turned off at the wall when i sleep or at work so it's on for less tiem

lucky i only had to pay my mum $200 for another one of her's. mind you that's cheaper than a brand new 32'' TV which could cost me $300-$400
