Q: looking for similar pictures

Not really many kanji, and they're relatively easy. The im@s 5-komas are usually pretty easy to read.

(so much so that I don't even notice the difference between the Japanese and translated versions, apparently)

Reading kana takes time , i need to read every kana letter one by one and make a word and if i don't understand translate using google

I have trouble with the names... I don't follow the series except for anime

Names are sometimes hard.

But if you realize it's a name, that's most of the hard stuff out of the way.

A lot of the time when I read manga in Japanese, I forget how to read a character's name, but so long as you know which character it is, you don't really need to know the reading.

@LoganM That's what my Japanese teacher told me. It's a reason why Japanese people still write in kanji.

They actually have a lot of them translated there if you want to read more. Maybe even more than I have hard-translated, though I read most of them raw anyway.

@mirroroftruth There's almost 500 of them. It's a matter of at least 50 hours to go through all their translations and edit them, and that's a fairly conservative estimate; it could be double that if the starting translations are terrible. I don't really have that time, unfortunately.

It's hard to translate the sentence I just quote to make it cute

@nhahtdh Yeah that is hard to translate. She's trying to imitate Kirari's speech pattern, which is a bit bizarre.

The most important thing when translating things like this is to be consistent, not necessarily to literally capture everything.

And further few get second season

And a handful where the anime reaches the end of the series
