A recap episode with an accompanying interview with voice actors Takeo Ōtsuka and Yurie Igoma will air instead next week on May 31.

I've only had a chance to read the 1st volume of Oshi no Ko just because of temporary free trial reading. Didn't expect something happened as early as episode 6? (dunno which chapter/volume was it from, nor do I watch the anime)

@Memor-X if the words used are exactly the same, then it's probably not a good idea especially since the real life incident happened not too long ago
i have my doubts about anime being educational, as for me it happens rarely

yeh true but when the episode aired there were people speaking out on Twitter about people needing to be kinder to one another online because of the real world inspiration did not end well
though whether or not that would lead to any change is another question and honestly debatable if it ever will.
like what was it, last week you had that report of Prince Harry and Meghan being chased by the paparazzi. while there may have been a degree of hyperbole it does reflect badly that it was the paparazzi chasing that caused Harry's mother, Princess Dianna to be killed in a car crash
and people who are not their fans will say that they are sick of them getting this attention, but the media keeps going after them because the public, regardless if they like or hate them, want to know all the dirt on them and the ones who don't like them will use that dirty to be absolutely toxic
and god knows what it's like for Idols since Idol Culture is it's own cesspool like an idol who had to apologize to her fans for coming out that she had been sexually assaulted, like the mindset you have to develop of your fans to think that one has to do that
and probably easier to find stories of idols getting into a relationship and fans of them, the partner or some other idol blowing a gasket
