@Memor-X Seeing a lot of Owl House images in here. Amphibia and Owl House are both spiritual successors to the Disney show Gravity Falls, which got pretty popular. Amphibia is making me gag lately due to how awkward it's dialogue gets, and how predictable it's plots are. The redemption of Sasha feels extremely unjustified. To me, she's pretty much a sociopath and should be beyond redemption, and this is character assassination.

Owl House on the other hand, can be pretty good at times. The first episode was extremely bad and awkward, as all the supposed problems Luz had with socializing were dropped as soon as she got into the other world. Luz is kind of a character you only like because she's the main character, in my opinion. Amity, the other character in this picture, on the other hand, is great. She's basically the only character I like.

Amity is the one with purple hair. She shares a voice actor with Katara from Avatar, Mae Whitman.

I'm pretty sure both shows have mentioned anime. The main character of Amphibia has definitely said she likes anime, but I can't remember if Luz has said that. Still, both shows fall pretty short when compared to anime. Still got awkward "for kids" vibes a lot of the time.

It's not necessarily bad when a show is for kids, but it becomes a problem when you're pandering too much and treating kids like they're dumb.
