been seeing a lot of Among Us recently, but the game is around 2 years old... what did I miss that gave it this new life? Or have I just not noticed it for 2 years?
@JNat Some streamers played it. They drew a comparison to fall guys which drew in a lot of people that enjoyed that. From there on it just kinda snowballed.
The fact you can play it for free on mobile also helped to draw in a lot of people that usually are unwilling to pay for games such as these
It's quite the enjoyable game all in all. Played it together with some streamers myself. But also with my parents, as a way to still interact with them while social distancing ;)
.... bah. Legend of Equestria is a free, fanmade online game. Still, someone managed to steal/hack enough of the code to build a reverse-enginered server. Gatcha with an offline game on PC? Had to lookup Monster Monpiece... it is just a card game... Here we are talking basically of a jrpg with gatcha character unlocking.
@Memor-X I just meant that it is a simple game that won't draw much attention.
This one... managed to get loads of attention, being mentioned by every big gaming site like Gematsu, Ign, Kotaku etc...
the amount of work for a new card set and a new 3d character probably isn't comparable either.
This game seems likely to have much bigger costs than you average gatcha with cards or outdated graphics (see : One Piece Treasure Cruise that uses 2d sprites and cards but still is a big hit, or Dokan for Dragon Ball, similar thing)
anyway, apparently they have partially fixed the kernel level anticheat thing, by that just meaning now it is reported to shut down correctly by pc players
That said, if I am ever trying the game, I will do it on the PS4 version.
@Memor-X that also, but if I were to play it, I wouldn't probably give it much "effort", meaning I would just play a little in the weekends until something else catches the eye.
As now, I am mostly researching the company (same of Honkai Impact) to see if it is even worth to try the game. Things like past data stealing incidents or such.

So, what happened to Ciel's soul? Did it go to heaven afte...
