Q: Isekai Manga Please Help

DrakeI read once Isekai Manga and remebered one thing about god of that world he helped main guy too much and got angered by another god of this world and got tormented and later bandaged it was funny scene not dark scene please help and god in this manga had dark skin

@Mysticial from what i understand they have 2 studios but i don't know how they do their animations. if they are using the Cloud the delay could be the team(s) working on the Free Movie where in the first studio with them being the major casualties while the animation data is safely backed up
i think more it would be the human element that is the source of the delay

@Memor-X I guess the question is how easily can personal move from project to project. My guess it would be easy for the animators and more difficult for directors and scripters.
That's assuming minimal loss of digital data - which isn't the case according to them.

I find that the Japanese rarely keep backups in general. I have no idea why.

:51162618 I always wonder what deleted messages like that one contained.

2:42 AM
@forest Normally I just delete images that don't render in chat for some reeason. In that case there was some potentially objectionable content I missed in the thumbnail because of the scale of the image, so I wiped it before anybody could notice. Nothing too bad mind you, but I figured it was better safe than sorry.

If only I was RO and could see it. My curiosity always gets the best of me. :P
But I'm not curious enough to SIGSTOP my browser and probe the heap...

@forest R.O?

Room Owner. A mod-like status that can be applied automatically if you're alone in a room for long enough. They can read deleted messages. I got RO randomly on the chat for Cryptography so I can read deleted messages there (99% are deleted typos), but not here.

@forest I also deleted it off of postimg so that wouldn't actually change much in this case.

oh lol

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" is a philosophical thought experiment that raises questions regarding observation and perception. == History == Philosopher George Berkeley, in his work, A Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge (1710), proposes, "But, say you, surely there is nothing easier than for me to imagine trees, for instance, in a park [...] and nobody by to perceive them. [...] The objects of sense exist only when they are perceived; the trees therefore are in the garden [...] no longer than while there is somebody by to...
In other news, Kaguya's going to get mad at Suika if she keeps on breaking her stuff:

@Tonepoet yes because what we call sound is sound waved that have been processed by our ears. so when a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it it makes raw unprocessed sound

6:34 AM

Poor Mr. Mime. :(
Maybe it would be better if you didn't have such shitty Defense stats.

@Memor-X Even if we're so literal, we have to figure if the sound wave is the same thing as a complete sound without anybody to sense it.

@Tonepoet Well that's just a matter of specifying your definition of "sound".

@forest That's why it put so much effort into mastering Barrier and Reflect. =P

6:46 AM
Oh good point.

@forest Defining abstract concepts in a meaningful way can be harder than it seems though.

I don't think it's hard at all. It's just arbitrary, and not everyone agrees on definitions.

@forest Perhaps, but there's a difference between being a fair arbiter and an unfair one. XP
And then there's a difference between reasonable and unreasonable disagreement too.

Words don't have intrinsic meaning, so any semantic debate hinges on ensuring that all parties share the same definitions for words. There can be subtle differences in people's understanding that are taken for granted, leading to fundamental misunderstandings down the line.

@forest There's no such thing as a personalized language though, as demonstrated by the story of the great confounding, and there is a process by which that consensus is established and maintained.
So while words lack intrinsic meaning in and of themselves, the establishment of a language very much gives them meaning.

7:01 AM
Indeed, but many people disagree in ways that aren't obvious.

@forest And that's what makes it difficult.
The whole thing is rather ambiguous and we define things to try and take away the ambiguity and make the meaning more obvious to all parties.

It's a shame we can't just plug USB devices in our heads and use an established protocol.

Fine! Then we'll all use RS-232. Happy now? :P

Q: Are Shinra Shakaki's Parents Ever Revealed?

StackUpPhysicsI have read the English Translated version of C.M.B. Manga and there was no mention of Shinra's biological father. Only his adoptive fathers and mother were mentioned. As the manga is finished. Is it ever revealed?

@forest find the nearest edited message, click its "history" url, change the number to the message you want to see and voila curiosity satisfied
you gotta have some privileges though like enough rep or being a room owner, not sure which one
sorry I didn't read any other messages, you probably figured it all out by now

5:45 PM
yea I like jumping in like this, reading one message, replying, then seeing it has already all been discussed in much more detail, and leaving
idk you guys can probably ask some actual regular ROs about it, I don't think it's a good idea for me to do anything since I only appear once a shitstorm these years

@Hakase Speaking of random appearances and disasters, what exactly was the deal with robokitty's explosion a few months back?
Come to think of it, I just noticed Miu's smug mug in the background. I suppose there's some symbolism going on there.

It is a somewhat rare occurance to see scenery filled out with characters like that. Usually an image focuses entirely on the details of the scene, or entirely on the characters. That somehow manages to use the characters as nice stage pieces that render the scenery all the more lively.
It looks like a pleasant day to be outside, and most everybody looks like they are enjoying themselves, although Reimu looks a little more contempative.
I am also surprised at how many characters were fit into the scene without making it look too crowded, and it really highlights how recognizable the overall designs are to see them at such small scales.

Taking a second look, postimg shrunk the image though. The original image is 1440p.
