OP is basically asking for a tl;dr on the premise of One Piece, which I think can be useful for someone who's looking to get into that massive archive binge of a manga/anime

@ahiijny well the current close vote is that it's too broad which i would be close to siding on because the question is also asking about the lore which that would be spread out across the entire series
like to me it sorta reads as a "summarise the entire series for me"

I've only read up to chapter 230 though, and that was a while ago, so I don't know too much about this series
