@memor-x I don't use a desk anymore: It's more comfortable to just lie down, esp. since I'm using a handheld device as a computer. I use a U.S.B. keyboard because otherwise it is hard to type, but II either have the keyboard besides me as I type or if I am sitting I keep it on my lap.

@Memor-X Hmm, on the one hand Homura wasn't ultimately able to stop Madoka from making a wish, despite many opportunities at a redo, but on the other hand I suppose it wouldn't be too hard for her to stop him for the one moment per year it takes to blow out a candle.

i remember my friend telling me that there is this h doujin set post Rebellion where Homura grants Madoka's wish to have boobs as big as Mami's but later wants a penis like Sayaka's and there's apparently as flashback of Sayaka complaining that Homura gave it to her (she's obvious with Kyoko)

ofcause since it's a H Doujin involving futa, generally it causes libido problems so maybe Homura did it solely to mess with Sayaka

@Memor-X They're going fine. It's going to be difficult getting used to Phantom Brave, because of how the phantoms disappear after a set number of turns though.

I need to rewrite the cv though. I usually put emphasis on things i do not know well and what i am learning instead of the things i have done and know.

But that is because i feel i do not know that much and everything i am doing is nothing exceptional.

We usually frown upon them, as we get a lot of people who know those courses by heart, in perfect detail, but are unable to look past/beyond them.

Most often those courses also provide a pretty close minded insight on topics, limiting views significantly

I recal a solicitant who knew nearly everything .net related perfectly. Letter by letter he could tell you how to do things. However, when something turned out to be different, outside of the course scopes or best practice scopes, he either was unable to deal with it, or did so very, very slowly.

Non the less, those courses are valuable. Done a fair amount of them myself as well.
I however tend to avoid mentioning them. And just let it reflect in my practical skill / description of such.

yeah i get that but for an overview they seem okay. It becomes a problem i guess when you have not worked on an actual project where you can try it. But yeah i get the point where are you coming from.

Usually yes, it gives a quick insight in to how people code, and how they progress.

If we reject people, we also ask them if they want a Code review as we would do in our company, as to give pointers on where they can improve

It never hurts.
Usually you can easily spot if something is a homework assignment or not, and in those cases we tend to take it more at face value then actually go indepth on it.

We weigh in self made, or hobby projects in more.

We have to. We tend to work with fairly detailed, and technically challenging products. And following our flat hiarchy, each developer, should be able to handle a project from the moment a client becomes a client, till the actual delivery of a product

Including architectural decisions, client contacting and translating their needs to concrete tasks etc.

Hence, if I analyze profiles, I need to gain some insight on whether people are able to do things all the way.

It's okay, it's a slow day.
I am mostly a hands on developer. Currently working on a internal project, and a project for a client where another of our developer does the project management mostly.

Besides that I am involved in hiring/applicants, internal security (we are part of a flex work space, which is effectively owned by the guy who owns the company for which I work), and giving internal courses in regards to C#/.Net and all relevant technologies

And that's not counting all kinds of little things I (have to) do in between, leading to me nearly never reaching deadlines ;')

err, I started doing some little things in 2011.
Started proffesionally in 2014, and been doing it ever since.
A fair amount of time I either did double jobs, or work on code in my spare time as well, so I guess I usually made about 60-80 hours of coding every week during these years

Now a days I try to restrict myself a bit more, but besides my job here, I also have my own company. Hence I still usually end up with the 60-80 hours ;')
