No, I thought the exception was only thrown if you attempt to create an instance of the websocket class.

idk if that's how it works

if you added some smart selector, it might not be working

I see there's still code for native, but it's not removed

maybe it should be completely cut out if that's causing exceptions for whatever reason

It was probably there to avoid flooding the server with a bunch of requests when you join a room with lots of users.

Granted it's ugly.

It runs the initialisation code on a separate thread.

why is it not default?

Because you won't have access to user collection properties in the meantime.
