@Hakase flaw - what about G1? she doesn't seem to like me that much

guess you're not childhood neighbours, so you'll have to impress her with your magical or superhuman abilities or save her from alien invasion using martial arts

@Chinatsu-creepy-chan It is important to remember there will always be a G3 in this situation that you like which likes you back. That said, if you don't dislike G2 and she isn't the crazy attached stalker type and you have no chances with G1 you can totally go out with her. Either you decide you like her more than you thought and it works out for the best or it doesn't and you both move on.

basically figure out common interests, spend a lot of time together, be nice and protect her, and let her stand for herself every once in a while coz it's important for character development and avoiding feminazis ruining the show's reputation

that too, maybe you'll both be friends and single for long enough that you'll eventually be 30 and decide it was meant to be all along like some cheesy romantic comedy

never directly cross Gs 2…∞ or it will ruin your chances for a good ending

@CuddleBunny I can clearly see she really likes me - I also like her. She "plays" we're holding hands, keeps hugged with me, etc. The problem is my friend likes her too, and I don't want to make him sad

from a purely scientific standpoint simply spending a lot of time with a person can make them fall for you too

because chemicals

your friend getting sad might be inevitable coz this is how drama genre works. Eventually it will get better between you, though it might take a few seasons

P2 and P3 are huge connectors for stage outlets and pro hardware

It doesn't have a microphone, just earbuds. To be exactly, it's a CX 2.00. The problem is the wire next to the plug

that's hard to fix without replacing the connector and part of the wire that is faulty

if there's enough good wire length next to the connector you could try to cut out the bad portion and solder together the remaining good parts

it should be just a 1-2 cm loss in cable length but then it's difficult to stick it connected together so that it wouldn't tear later

imo just get a new pair

btw if you still have warranty, just drop em at the service place and wait a few days for a new pair to arrive

that's how I got my pair replaced when I found out it wasn't letting air through in one ear

they got me a new pair from the same batch, now with both earplugs airtight :I

had to drill holes in both so that my eardrums wouldn't implode every time I put em in

those were the last earplugs I bought and they're still working

umm I don't differentiate between the parts of the whole story

from the beginning, Homura and Mami gave each other cold looks and didn't try to cooperate, even seemed hostile to each other

why is that I wonder

I guess Mami could've been silly enough to assume Homura was a rival in stealing some bad perfume bottles for herself, but Homura knows what's going on, so why is she treating Mami with annoyance and disregard?

@Hakase oh if your referring to when Nagisa was a witch and Vored Mami Homura did try and save her then....but i belive it was only because Madoka was there and she was trying to avoid Madoka see Mami die

ok but why not just save her out of kindness, and not because poor Madoka would see bad stuff?

additionally, Mami's continued existence could make Madoka's life a little brighter

@Hakase true but remembered what happened when Mami learned what Witches really are? Mami is emotionally fragile having been alone most of the time and lost her friendship with Kyoko so when she learns that one day she may have to kill her dearest friends she breaks down

i suppose she could have spent time to make sure Mami could be ok when she learned the truth but Homura has a time limit before Walpurgisnacht arrives and has to stop the Entropy Bitches converting Madoka so she can witch out

tried to watch zankyou no terror but it's just too pretentious

ye, they made it sound like their first and most interesting effort is Kill Bill's animation sequence which I bet nobody remembers but oh right Kill Bill is a movie everybody knows, unlike any anime title

so is the focus on epic battles, or is there more of a psychological aspect? or is it drama mainly with robot setting?

I watched all of metal panic but I can't remember anything from it

it's like it was 100% filler

shows at least vaguely mecha related that I gave a 8+ on MAL: Metropolis, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Macross (Original, Frontier, 7, Zero), Full Metal Panic, Heroman (sort of?), Escaflowne, Robotics;Notes

'Sup.

Robotics Notes was as unenthused as the main character guy

@Hakase mostly divided into typical type B stuff, political drama, shounen/random chosen hero does everything, or action

if you want a short, solid mecha experience I suggest watching the Macross Frontier movies

there are only 2 and you get the whole story

and the space battles are immaculately animated

Macross Frontier TV was much better, story-wise, than the movies. Visual wise, not really.

I can't care about any events if I can't care about the characters, which makes any space battles just star wars to me

yeah, not many space battle series get you invested in the cast

which is why I like Macross because it is highly character driven

just got back from the store

I sometimes buy baby juices coz they're really tasty and great when I've eaten chips before and my stomach is upset

this time I bought one small glass jar of baby food stuff to store gyokuro in

the cashier lady apparently remembered me buying all this before and asked "how old?"

I thought she was asking my age because just before me a girl bought a pack of cigs and the stores now have to see your passport if they have even the slightest suspicion you're not old enough to smoke

as a joke I took out my passport and showed it to her

she asked "but where's the baby's pic?" probably thinking this is where I'd carry my baby's pic

I had to explain this bit and she was very upset for some reason that I didn't have a baby and it was for my sideways purposes

so I got you a weird story :p

@Hakase I recommend Patlabor, despite being a realistic approach to the Mecha genre, it contains a lot of satirical elements as well. Patlabor takes aim at government, bureaucracy, urban life, and gung-ho cops in a pretty hilarious manor, unlike most other series

@CuddleBunny Armored Trooper Votoms imo is a good example of the best the genre can offer

in the middle there's a sequence where all the hit points go down, and it's at the core of the game

now I wanna find out if there are games which have some bar go up in order to "win"

or alternatively multiple win conditions

undertale touches upon it with non-attack actions, but there's no bar, there's just a sequence of actions

there's a viewer ratings thing at Mettaton encounter which is more or less a "bar" for an alternative win condition

@Tosh do we got stats about how IDs affect user activity?

particularly, how many users stayed after asking an ID and how many left after ID appeared

I really don't think we should have mixed IDs together with the main questions

that way they wouldn't be in the way of main users, and ID people could figure out the main site if they wanted

guess the damage is done now

something tells me damage will keep getting done if IDs stay in the field of view of main posts

I think maybe it would make sense to cut losses sooner rather than later, but I'm not sure if the damage is great enough, if it will last longer and be as big over time, and if simply hiding IDs into their own separate section would reduce it
