it's been sometime since i've last read this manga but what I do remember about it:
This boy is the head of a Yakuza who pays off a girl's debt. In a way he is forcing her into marriage by paying off her huge debt. He waltzes in to her house while the loan sharks are there waiting for her to pa...
@Frosteeze make the image of your waifu twice a big, like you've always dreams
@Frosteeze yeh, i think that's the original image. it's onc of those scenes where the screen blurs up slightly because it's getting steamy. in this case Shouko, who can't seen to resist getting her blood/energy sucked by every love interest, is getting double teamed by Yasumi and Nami. aside from the small cut she's effectively getting kissed buy 2 girls and one of them is totally naked
Nappa: What does the scouter say Vegeta? Vegeta: it's....1006, go ahead and kill him *Nappa attack Goku and gets ass kicked* Nappa: Vegeta Why? Vegeta: oh wait i had the thing upside down, it's over 9000....dam *breaks scouter in hand*
It takes me about ~40 min. to get from my apartment to the Rosemont convention center. Not a problem at all - at least until I come back at 3AM.
I actually considered getting a real (as in sharp) knock-off samurai blade at the con and disguising it as cosplay prop for safety when taking the train in the middle of the night.
Only $35 for a real blade. And I'm over 18, so I can legally buy one.
So if anyone tries to stick me up with anything short of a gun, I'm not totally defenseless.
Doesn't have to be very durable, I'm not going to war with it. But something that is strong enough to injure/disable someone in a confined area would be good.
Why not just bring a kendo stick? Won't alarm people much since its dull, but will give off the image of a kendo practitioner so people won't dare to mess with u.
Pepper spray might be the simplest/safest solution.
The problem is that if someone approaches me in between stations, I'd need to be able to disable the person for at least 2 minutes so I can escape at the next station.
The good thing is that there are cameras all over the place. So I can basically do whatever I want to the attacker since I'll have all the proof in the world that it's in self defense.
In some parts of the Chicago yes. Not in the area between the airport and downtown (where I live). But that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore the problem at 3AM.
The convention center is next to the airport.
On Friday night, there was one shady person. But there were about 10 other people in the same car.
On Saturday night (3AM), the subway was literally packed with people from the convention. So I wasn't at all concerned.
In the Namek Saga we found out that the Namek Dragonballs need a password to activate which Dende uses on behalf of the Z Warriors. Since he says it in Namekan i am wondering if there is a Translation of what he is saying?
@EroSɘnnin i'd do that, take out a desk and run at it doing stylized writing as if i am attacking them. if the reference doesn't scare them the sight of a crazy person write like that would scare them off
@Hakase the guys at work was just talking about that. to be honest i find it far to dark, a guy gets his wife raped and forces his son to watch in the TV Version, but in the books the guy forces his son to rape her and later forces her to commit an act of bestiality
i don't mind a story where no one's a winner, just when there are people like that who don't die is just depressing
Vegeta: *wake up* got to pee *runs out into hall but stops to look at the sky* shit i must have overslept. the first time it's been night since i landed on this planet, a planet with 3 suns
In the first episode of Death Parade we see that after the first game the women's soul gets voided and the man gets reincarnated.
During the darts game the women tells the man that she is pregnant. Does the baby also get send to void? This would be weird knowing that the baby probably was rei...
As identification-question has always been main attraction of pain and discussion. So to handle them properly Fourth off-topic close reason has been implemented. This is helping. But the time for closing is different. Some question get closed withing an hour where some remain for more than 24 hou...
I just can't make myself fall asleep so I end up going to bed late and as a result not enough sleep the next day. I'd rather have shifting hours every day and live like there are 28 hours in a day :p
However, what they're essentially doing is using a UI to create a side, and adding plugins.
Yea.
So basically, it takes just a little more intelligence than using firefox.
Yea, and the real good places will test your understanding of algorithms, data structures, as well as your understanding of architecture.
If you're going to be making something non-trivial, you need to put in the time to understand the foundations of the technologies you work on.
So, web dev is actually quite hard to do right. There are several architectures, several databases, several caching systems, several messaging queues, several protocols.
I'm already at lower pay because of poor choice →.→
@GamesBrainiac so you're reputable in certain circles? do companies offer you jobs or do you pick from a list and then they decide whether they trust you to do it or somebody else based on your reputation?
