lol I guess I missed my shot at posting there. Atlantiza's answer is essentially what I was going to say. In Japanese, it's just anime and manga whether singular or plural, but when you start using them as loanwords the conventions are not set in stone. Honestly it's more a question about English than it is about Japanese.
