@flawr I looked into it quite a while back but never used it. It's quite similar to SML and usually the way to go if you want to use an SML-like language in production.
As you know Haskell it should be easy to pick up SML, though you might feel rather restricted.
There are no real type classes, no list comprehensions and the like, so golfing options feel a bit more limited as well, but then again I always enjoyed it any way.
