I just wrote an answer to the random snake challenge and I get an Ambiguous type variable error when running on TIO, while it runs just fine in GHCi. Has anyone an idea why?

GHCi is not quite the same as the usual Haskell, this caught me several times.. Maybe you'd get away with using runhaskell?

@BMO How does runhaskell differ from GHC? It appears to be just an alias for runghc, which again should only mitigate the compile step.

I <s>wasted</s> spent quite a lot of time on that question.. There would be a few other flags where the usual catching errors and doing something would work but I felt that it wasn't getting much more interesting.

@BMO No, and your link to the documentation even contains an example which solves the challenge, as far as I see.

Tbh, I only know of the way buffering is done. Not exactly sure but I think that it does turn of buffering like GHCi does as well.
