I saw your message before about how you were feeling kinda burned out. Sorry I didn't reply before; I didn't want to ping-reply you with a message of support and have that draw you back onto the site, but I suppose I could've said something.
Anyway, what I could've said was that you should absolutely take care of yourself! Even though your contributions make the site better in numerous ways, Ask Ubuntu will still run acceptably well in your absence; plus, it's more important for you to do (or not do) whatever it takes so that you continue to run at least acceptably well. :)
@Zanna I might get to that. I am in the middle of a few things including very hopefully finishing a big answer to post on Unix & Linux, relating to the stuff I was talking about on the Island.
haha thank you very much :) :) I wouldn't mind if you sent me a message (if I don't have the energy to do stuff then I won't worry about trying) but I thought it was considerate of you not to reply to my message (since I vaguely thought you would be here and usually reply to things)
@EliahKagan well I hope you will mention if you manage to complete it so I can read the answer and understand what was going on!
Process substitution1 lets you transform a script typescript as it's written.
You can use script -q >(./dewtell >>outfile) brew args... instead of script -aq outfile brew args... to write a log with escape sequences removed, where ./dewtell is whatever command runs the script that removes them. ...
