In the UK, only MPs can become cabinet ministers?
Well, looking at Wikipedia, it seems to be the case:
> Members of the Cabinet are by convention chosen from members of the two houses of Parliament, as the Peel convention dictates that ministers may only be recruited from the House of Commons or the House of Lords, although this convention has been broken in the past for short periods.

@MartinSleziak there needs to be a debate on fptp system.

So , I am interested in how UK's nuclear submarine codes3 are transferred or safely, modified for next prime minister?
@CDJB can you please answer above question?
Pardon for any spelling mistakes.Please.
@CDJB - Between , Larry the cat is in more focus in the news ever before .As I asked a question about this topic previously.😺. Look at sky news , channel 4 news etc.
Sorry a about the last question though, I must have asked about this topic on chat more than on main site.I quickly recalled , sorry.

The ABC interview can also be considered a dud.
I fear it will be late when he finally understands the gravity of the situation.

@User1865345- Hi
Please serk to 1.o8 minute.
@User1865345 - But considerin mr.bindans experience and his truthfulness , it's the age matters , considering how US media portrait Mr. Trump?
Sorry does his age matters?
Yes that sure is indeed.
16:51
@SwiftPushkar at this point, it's not experience that age brings forth, but rather the cognitive decline, which Biden's actions have given credence to.
@User1865345 - Yes you are absolutely right , but he said that in a interview that he is ok. But since everybody knows that there are problems with Mr. Biden , why democratic party chose him at first place
@User1865345 - I mean there is Kamala Harris . etc.
A party doesn't choose the candidate. They win primary. A sitting president hardly gets any significant primary. He won the primaries. So he is, till now, going to be in the ticket.
@SwiftPushkar at this point of time, any action of replacing Biden has to initiate from Biden himself.
There can be external coercion, pressure. But these won't matter if Biden decides to stay.
@User1865345 - Between ,I am from India and don't know much about politics in US , but as a enthusiastic ,I have seen some documentaries of Frontline ,PBS on YouTube , and my only experience about US politicians is solely based on that , So I am not a expert.
@User1865345 - Based on frontline documentaries , I am impressed about Mrs.Nancy Pelosi , and Mr. Biden. And offcourse mr.obama.
17:03
Hm
@User1865345 - I have also seen frontline documentaries on YouTube about Mr. Trump , but to me they were painting a negative impression on Mr.Trumph. So I may be biased , but since I don't know full picture. But overall I think democrats are decent people with modarate views. Again I am just expressing myself based on my limited knowledge. What most Americans think ?
I cannot say what most Americans think.
It's almost polarized at every front.
To some people even a convicted felon is a Messiah. For them, what Trump does is sacrosanct.
They defend the indefensible.
@User1865345 Yes I know that , but consider a foreigner asking this question , based on his limited exposure?
@SwiftPushkar as I said, no one can argue whether a convicted felon, an insurrectionist is "bad" or not, to put it bluntly.
Facts cannot be argued.
So yes, Trump is bad.
17:20
@User1865345 - Ok , but I just wanted to know that are democrats more decent , Because we only have exposure to CNN..No republican media is on our TV network , or even our own Indian media always portrait Mr.Trump in a kind of negative way , atleast in the past , our local newspapers even printing news about his lies.So as a unbiased person I just6 want to know about the truth.
I don't know what CNN broadcasts internationally. But tbf, that's the most "centrist" news media you would get.
@User1865345 - Thanks for taking me , It's 10:55 PM in India , and I should sleep . Thanks again. Good Night from India.
And build your own opinion by discerning facts from propaganda. Judge for yourself which party stands for what and what the implications are on the quality of lives of common people.
> The numbers paint a complicated picture and highlight Democrats’ difficult position after Biden’s poor performance at the presidential debate and swirling speculation about his stamina and fitness to serve another term. About a third of Democrats surveyed in the poll, which was conducted four days after the debate, said Biden should drop out of the race.

But the poll also placed Biden in his strongest position yet, showing a narrowing gap between him and Trump and bolstering the case for his narrow path to victory.

Finally someone:
> I am not usually one to offer diagnoses of people I’ve never met, but it does seem like the pundit class of the American media is suffering from severe memory loss. Because they’re doing exactly what they did in the 2016 presidential race – providing wildly asymmetrical and inflammatory coverage of the one candidate running against Donald J Trump.
> They have become a stampeding herd producing an avalanche of stories suggesting Biden is unfit, will lose, and should go away, at a point in the campaign in which replacing him would likely be somewhere between extremely difficult and utterly catastrophic. They do this while ignoring something every scholar and critic of journalism knows well and every journalist should.
