@JoeW this is getting messier.
> Carlson’s flagship show has claimed in a pair of lawsuits that network lawyers “coached” and “intimidated” her into giving misleading testimony in the $1.6bn Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit.

Abby Grossberg, a senior producer and head of booking for Tucker Carlson who has also worked on Maria Bartiromo’s show, alleged that the network attempted to pin the blame for Fox News’ airing of voting conspiracies on her and Bartiromo – an effort that Grossberg says was part of a broader culture of sexism and misogyny at Fox News.

@User1865345 And it is amazing how many of the people that appear to be getting the blame are women
Would this complicate the ongoing Dominion-Fox case?
Read yesterday the judge was undecided but he feels Fox has a Dobbs problem.
Of course it would as it would make raise major doubts over everything that the fox news side has testified about
Makes their defense against the case look a lot more questionable and likely ensures it goes to trial
Hmm. I see. So far, they have tried to argue on First amendment and then they said they were reporting the allegations of Trump and co. But rhe judge didn't buy that.

And if all of that was true why would they have to coach people to say things that would shift the blame to certain employees and away from Fox News itself. Especially when you factor in that all of the blame seems to be going on women.
And the fact that Fox News is reporting on those allegations means that it is being talked about in the news which they can then use to continue to talk about it. I nice circle of logic there.

Has there been any Trump statements about the lack of an indictment/arrest?
14:30
> At the moment, however, it looks like Trump will go quietly. According to a source close to Trump, the former head of state seems intent on traveling north to present himself voluntarily at the Manhattan criminal courthouse if he is indicted. In fact, as of Tuesday morning, his legal team had not even discussed plans to deal with his possible arrest.
>... as Trump is wont to do, he is weighing out how to leverage the optics of such a historic moment.

Trump has already started fundraising off the drama, sending an email to donors calling for them to contribute one dollar “to cement your place as a FOUNDING DEFENDER of our movement in what truly is the darkest chapter in our nation’s history.”

I am awestruck each time the right wingers use the phrase Soros-funded while talking about DA Bragg without any context.
