A lot of speculation questions around the Nord Stream damage recently

@JoeW And not necessarily asking the right questions at that. :P I don't think the blame game is that interesting here. Not that it'd be on-topic on our site necessarily, but the more interesting question to me would be how it's going to affect European energy policy. Based on some of the talks I've listened to, it's the uncertainty in pipeline flow that's disastrous for Europe, so this might be the final straw for going off Russian gas (thus minimizing uncertainty).

Another interesting question is if this is just the start of more such incidents. That's a question I've seen raised (not on our site) as early as last year. For example, this analysts report talks about all the high value stuff in the North Sea and how it's rather vulnerable to someone swooping in under the radar and destroying a bunch of stuff (e.g. power lines) eenvandaag.assets.avrotros.nl/user_upload/PDF/…
