@Edmund It does not appear that you voted to reopen, and while the comment expresses your desire to answer the question, it does not address why the question is not Too Broad.
@StephenRauch The original question seems fine. OP wants a function that you pass a function name and some parameters to and it returns he result of the function. I don't see how this is too broad. OP even narrowed the set of function names the function should take
