I was replying in solidarity with kukushkin against the comment "The students who want to learn (and are prepared to regulate their breeding activities to achieve that goal!) will apply plenty of peer pressure, without any further encouragement."

Assuming that a student who brings their child to class was thoughtless in their "breeding activities" is absolutely offensive. And @TOOGAM continued that line of thought. The fact is that the student had a child. It cried in class a single time. That doesn't mean the child was an accident or that they are incapable of caring for it. smh

I'm not sure I agree with the premise of the answer. You lose me with "Can you ban parent from attending the class? No. Can you control a 6 month old baby's noises? Arguably no." There's a question missed there. "Should students be allowed to bring children to class?"; which I think is far more relevant. Although one time in extreme circumstances isn't the end of the world, if it happened multiple times it shouldn't be allowed to continue.
