Well my reason for the obsiderite being so hard to enchant is that it wouldn't be possible to max it, so it'd still be about equal to fully maxed netherite, but you would need to be strategic about the enchants you picked.

lmao on skyblock the max you should be spending is like 100 levels at once probably

like if you combine 1 by 1 you're gonna get like 400 level costs xD

My intent is for them to be similar, but obsidian tools would be more accessible early to mid game when mending and high enchantments aren't available. Later on the obsidian tools could be used for farms where lots and lots of disposable tools are needed (such as an ice farm without auto repair).

Netherite would still be the meta for late game.

though i guess obsidian is easier to get than large amounts of diamonds

actually no it would be a major waste to spend netherite on obsiderite instead of just spending the time getting your diamonds cuz netherite is really expensive to obtain

Good news! I got my network card installed, so I can actually play on the server during the day!

Also I'm kinda scared of my sister now, she knows I'm on my computer in the middle of the night when I'm not supposed to be and she's messing with me in really subtle ways, knowing I can't tell anyone about it without it either seeming like I'm crazy because she has no motive, or saying I was up until 2 AM playing Minecraft all week.

The enderman farm is broken.

The carpets on top of the ceiling were entirely necessary and without them an enderman managed to kill the endermite that made the farm work

The lava blade is definitely a bad idea, given that the farm is made of leaves.

I think I'm going to have to tear it all down to rebuild.

Don't worry if you did add those modifications, as it's not at all obvious that they can be harmful, but that farm is an extremely delicate piece of engineering and should not be modified without a lot of experience.
