@MartinSleziak How can I remove myself as a room owner?
@Knight The standard way.
@MartinSleziak Didn't get you.
Go the the access tab.
Do you mean the right side bar?
5 messages moved from Martin Sleziak's room
@Knight No I mean the access tab of the room.

okay, just a second.
(As you're not the owner of this room, you won't be able to do anything there. But in the room were you're RO, you can add/remove room owners, grant access for gallery rooms, etc.)
Yes done.
Regarding your recent complaints on meta, I will just remind you that if you create a gallery room, you can explicitly specify who is allowed to speak there and who is not.
Where is the option to remove myself a room owner?
Of course, diamond-bearing user can talk in such room anyway.
@Knight In the tab which you right now posted the screenshot of.
For every user, after clicking on the arrow, you get the small menu.

@MartinSleziak Now, I realize and respect you even more. How come you have keep yourself so cool from so many years on SE, it's a challenging task?
@Knight I would definitely prefer if you stopped pinging me with irrelevant stuff.
I know
Although I appreciate that you're now using my name, rather than coming up with nicknames for me.

A user is requesting that I move some messages to Trash from my chat room. But the messages are a little old and so only accessible by the transcript, and it looks like I can't modify the transcript. Is there anything I can do without notifying a mod?
(as far as I can tell, the only issue is that the messages are "off-topic". despite my assurances that a small number of off topic messages are OK, the user wants the messages removed.) (given the above, I hope this is on-topic)

Q: Improved experience for users with review suspensions

Yaakov EllisThis post details the first in a series of releases related to the ongoing work on Review Queues. It focuses on changes to the ways in which users who have been suspended from reviewing are notified of this event. These changes are now live across the network. “Review Ban” renamed to “Review Susp...

Can I move posts that are so old (2 days) to only be in transcript? — Double AA Mar 5 '13 at 4:43
@DoubleAA Hmm, I don't think so, unless you "load older messages" in the live chat view until they're shown to be selected there. — Tim Stone Mar 5 '13 at 14:35
@CalvinKhor Two days does not seem that bad. Probably if you click "load older messages" a few times, you'll get to them.
I am not aware of a possibility to move messages from transcript. Maybe somebody else might have some better advice.
In any case, I agree that this users requests have been a bit strange.

@MartinSleziak I searched for online chat platforms where Latex rendering is possible and I found this post of yours

Q: Chatting about mathematics (with real-time LaTeX rendering)

Martin SleziakDo you know about some tools which can be used for online chat about mathematics? In particular, I am interested in software which would be able to render LaTeX formulas. (Since LaTeX is probably the fastest possibility to type mathematics.) Have you tried some of them? What are their advantage...

So, what are some chat platforms where we can get connected to someone we want. Are there some sites/apps which personalised like Facebook and we can chat (with real time latex rendering) about Maths. I have found an app called the telegram but I don’t know if I would be able to talk with latex compilation there.
This is one of the most salient feature of the telegram
> So in reality, you don’t need your phone number to use Telegram, you just need a phone number for a minute or two.

@MartinSleziak thanks, it surprisingly worked. Regarding the user's motivations, I asked - as he did it again in the Logic room - if it was homework, and he said something to the effect of "please define homework" (trying to get out on a technicality?) and "i don't want to be flagged and get suspended by a rogue mod". shrug
@Knight if "like" is a reflexive relation, are you aware that Facebook messenger on computers has real time LaTeX? Its not Mathjax but a competing feature called KaTeX (this is detailed in one of the answers of that linked post)

@CalvinKhor I couldn’t understand some of the answers there, that’s why I asked it.
fair :)

@CalvinKhor Well if you want me to say this one more time then it's okay "This is not a homework which was given by any school or university" so stop spreading the fake rumors. It is a logic puzzle which I was solving for fun and I came here just for a normal discussion.
