@MikePierce I think it's like 50 close votes per day (but they are exhausted easily). I think votes (up and down) are limited to 30 per day. I've no hard and fast rule about the age of the posts. Just try to deal with the most "egregious" bad posts to close each day.
@amWhy and @mixedmath Detailed information about such limits can be found in The Complete Rate-Limiting Guide. (It is linked also in the rate-limiting tag-info.)
> 50 close/reopen votes/day/user on Stack Overflow, Mathematics, Server Fault, Super User and Ask Ubuntu, 24 on others. Source
The post mentionsL "40 post votes per day per user." and "30 answer votes per day per user."
Although details are a bit complicated when you get close to 40.
Sorry, I pinged wrong user. The above was for amWhy and @MikePierce, who discussed this in another room.

@MartinSleziak thanks for the explanation. I was about to wonder whether I should determine why I was pinged. But now I know!

Sorry for the ping. I started to type at m and press tab to do autocomplete the rest of the name. I did not check carefully enough what I typed.

Is this why you ping yourself sometimes?! :-)

@quid I guess it's just a joke. I'm pretty sure that autocomplete does not offer your own username.
@MartinSleziak I suppose it is easy to guess why I ping myself. The advantage of using reply (even if it is to my own message) is that other users see the little arrow next to the message and they know what exactly I am responding to (in the other words, what is the message with the self-reply related to).
@MartinSleziak For example, if I had some more comments about triage, then if I start message like this, the small arrow at the begging redirects other users to the previous context.

Indeed, my comment was intended as a humorous one and I had understood why you reply to yourself.

@MartinSleziak: How do you reply to yourself?

It is the same syntax as when you reply to a message by somebody else, but here you have to copy-paste the number of message and preface it by ":"
As you can see, in that message I started it with ":44254365" and it was reply to the message with this number: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/44254365#44254365

@user170039 Ok. I understand.

@MartinSleziak Thanks.

And that number you can get from the permalink. (Permalink and reply are among the options when you click that small triangle on the left next to a chat message.)
