From the article, it appears that these people died with Covid, more than of it.

It's always been the case that Covid has been harder on those with other pre-existing conditions.
That doesn't mean they didn't die from covid
 
I agree. The "with Covid, not of Covid" argument is one the anti-mask and anti-vax crowd have been using to attempt to discredit published death rates, and we need to avoid falling into the same trap now that it's about vaccinated people.
