@TimStone Your government is run by children. Luckily they'll be gone in 2 months.
@Wipqozn assuming things go the way we expect them to
Pompeo was just saying they were going to have a smooth transition into a 2nd Trump Presidency
sorta ominous even if they are lying screw-ups
02:19
Oh wow, Newsmax went in a different direction and is now suggesting Trump "retire" and make Mike Pence handle the transition
Extreme "my work here is done" energy
Can't believe I have to agree with Newsmax on the premise, that would be incredibly funny
02:52
Has anyone seen stats on a by-state breakdown of mail-in ballot Biden/Trump ratios? I'm real curious but can't seem to find them
Someone just claimed to me that PA has unrealistic ratios and I wanted to see how it compare to other states
03:11
I'm not sure if that information is directly public, though I guess you could try and figure it out for states that gave sufficient information about when they were counting?
lol
jfc
@Sterno Here are the main-in ballots returned by party affiliation, which isn't sufficient to answer the question but suggests a heavy skew just makes sense
At first I thought this was a really bad political take but then I remembered we're in the middle of a severely worsening pandemic and it made more sense
03:26
The ambassador bar has been so low that I wonder why Trump hasn't made very Apprentice participant an ambassador to somewhere
My house is built out of toilet paper. I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT AGAIN
(not really though)
I think when you are caught driving that fast; they can charge you with some pretty heavy duty intensions.
04:27
why'd you pull me over, I'm not discussing my day, am I being cited or detained, or am I free to go, (if detained) I invoke my right to remain silent and will not answer any questions without an attorney
like come on you literally do not have to tell the cop that you plan to cross state lines to kill a former senator
The kind of people who drive 130 mph to go kill someone probably aren't the kind of people rational enough to keep that intention to themselves
@TimStone Karl Rove is the voice of reason. My god.
> Stahl stated that he was on Adderall and LSD and beer
I mean, that probably helped
Reminds me of the movie "Vanishing Point."
He was drugged out also.
Those were the days of muscle cars that could cruise at 130 mph.
Time to see if Trump tweeted any more batshit stuff before I go to bed
LOL of course he did
The only legal votes were the ones for him
04:45
Sleep well.
@TimStone i feel that the reason to do this is knowing Trump has lost and to get himself immunity from prosecution when he leaves
it was something that was floated by a guest on ABC the other night. Trump would quit making Pence President and as outgoing President he would pardon Trump, just like what happened with Nixon
05:13
They didn't call Nixon "tricky Dick" for nothing.
Trump is more a "trumpet"
Pence can't pardon away state prosecutions.
pre boomers
Really? I guess they got some advertising endorsement.
05:28
I was just browsing our Donnie boy's tweets. He retweeted a clip of Tucker baloney that wasted five minutes of my life where he says "the corporate media is telling us to shut up and believe their verdict"
"Corporate media" is suffering due to the lack of sports due to CoV.
Hopefully there'll be a vaccine out for the Jan 20 ceremony.
06:06
> Kamala Harris's win is historic, but the 1st U.S. VP of colour was elected 91 years ago

7 hours later…
@EddieKal I think you mean "ok boomer"
@TimStone doesn't the White House usually pay some person to speak for them?
Look she left her alter ego at home I guess
But yeah, serious gaslighting. They should have just changed camera angles and said they were going now to the White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, for comment
It's Fox but it would have been the ultimate production decision of the news cycle

2 hours later…
16:31
It's getting increasingly frustrating to read Trump's tweets about fraud, google them, and find them easily disproved (in many cases, days ago) in about 10 seconds... yet see a million responses to the tweet says "OMG DEMS ARE SUCH CHEATERS"
How is that any different from the last 4 years?
Sheer volume
Also, who even Googles those things? Either you know they're bullshit or you "know" they're true.
At some point everyone has to live with the fact that the democracy in that country has been severely tainted (or rather tainted a lot more than before already) for the foreseeable future and a significant part of the country will just continue to believe a coup d'etat has happened (rather than having been prevented) and that Biden isn't a legitimate president. I can't see how you can convince a lot of those people of the opposite.
@Sterno Many of those are definitely bots. That's the problem with prominently displaying replies from any account
Kevin Sorbo is a bot
16:41
Now the President is tweeting about OAN claiming Dominion voting machines deleted Trump votes (a claim which is, of course, baseless)
16:54
I guess they can all go there to have a place to whine about liberals and their safe spaces
lol saw some "fraud election" nonsense in some random comment on a friends wall. When I checked, the commenter was from ALberta. SURPRISE! (Narrator: This wasn't actually a surprise)
@TimStone How did some random nobody who did no campaigning get 6300 votes?
@Wipqozn The article points out he had the same last name as the actual Democratic candidate
17:10
@PrivatePansy I somehow completely missed that
Okay then this is hella shady, and was obviously an attempt to steal siphon votes.
Fuck the GOP. Seriously. They always scream about election fraud, yet they're always the ones doing it.
I'm always careful reading stories like this because A) We don't want to sound like Trump and B) I'm curious if there are stories of it happening to Republicans too
Gotta avoid the "They're cheaters and we're not" trap. Though, indeed, it may be true.
@Wipqozn it's always projection.
I can't find the Daily Show clip that said you want to be named Aaron A Aardvark to maximize your vote, because people will often just pick the first choice on the ballot if they don't know anyone
'S 'he problem wid Alberta?
I assume that's not Lewandowskis' Robert? ;-)
17:19
@NapoleonWilson It's basically the Texas of Canada
This is my new headcanon for LessPopMoreFizz
NSFL
17:27
@Sterno lol
Trump: No one should watch Fox News. It's awful!
Also Trump: Please watch all these retweeted clips of my staff on Fox talking about this massive fraud! P.S. I WON EASILY
@fredley STAHP
I wonder if we'll see the evidence of voter fraud before or after the damning Hunter Biden documents that Tucker Carlson lost in the mail
17:45
Did he ever run those?
UPS said they found the package he claimed was lost but then I don't remember anything else actually happening
Wait. Fox News is talking about COVID getting worse and not saying it's fake?
@TimStone He did not
Oh, it's so they could spin it into Biden wanting a month long lockdown. Okay, that's the Fox I know
@Sterno You didn't hear? They're a liberal mouthpiece now
Now Fox is talking about some video from April where Nancy Pelosi had expensive ice cream in her freezer.
Like what even
Truly, an important issue to our country
17:59
@fredley I have been informed that a man called Peter Gammons is running for mayor of london under the UKIP banner
I still do not believe that that's that guy's real name but
@Sterno Well now they can blame it on Biden, so it's real again.
@TimStone is this krebs or someone else?
It wasn't Krebs but now Krebs is reportedly expecting to also be fired
19:38
@TimStone L. O. L.
20:20
Jim Oberweis has lost again
@TimStone Didn't even realize he did this.
How absurd. luckily it was dismissed, as it should've been.
21:05
I like how in Trump's world, the Dems cheated by changing votes, deleting votes, throwing away ballots, making fake ballots, having dead people vote, and I guess just flat out recording the opposite of who people voted for. Like, they didn't just pick one fraud strategy... they went with everything possible
@Sterno yeah the GOP just went with fake candidates to soak up some rando votes
in addition to other voter suppression things, of course
21:45
@TimStone I mean Trump doesn't know enough to strategically replace people, so I assume it's just people that annoyed him or something like that. I'd be really worried if those replacements were part of a plan, but so far this kind of stuff has been more impulse
At least in this case it's because CISA ran a page debunking conspiracy theories about election fraud like the HAMMER crap and the White House thought it was mean and nasty to Mister Trump to not suggest the CIA had installed software to siphon votes away from him
And they applied pressure to change the page and CISA was like "…No"
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
@TimStone Oh my god, lmfao
ICE got itself auto-suspended by changing its age to < 13
22:01
why does the site even allow that?
I guess so you can accidentally tell on yourself if you're a minor
@TimStone slow clap
> Alaska GOP lawmaker Don Young tests positive for COVID-19
Of relevance to @Jolenealaska
@Sterno you could save yourself some trouble and not google them and assume, based off previous evidence of Trump lying, that he is always lying
@Memor-X That path would turn me into a lazy(ier) thinker
22:11
@Sterno in this case it wouldn't
Yeah, it would.
So our school district just sent out a notice to make it clear they have no plans to go virtual proactively. It will only happen if enough students and teachers get sick that they have no choice
the time you save having to fact check a pathological lair could be spent finding several other sources who when they do need to be fact checked, it's generally lying by omission due to their bias, not just flat out lying
22:35
@TimStone The first half had me going, "Say what?!" And then I am like: oh okay progress is good.
22:49
So, it seems today Macs stopped starting non-Apple apps because the Apple service that checks binaries for malware was down
or maybe not malware, but certificate revocation, or something
23:05
@TimStone anyone who still works there by now should know what's up
23:52
@TimStone how it's at least 15 by now
and not located in the european union
