It deleted part of my message. I hate mobile chat.
Although it may have been the elevator

@Wipqozn aside from the crap work practices, it's more that any community centred around a creative industry has a group that has this fantasy view of what it's like to work there when almost all the time their day dream jobs are way high up the career ladder and/or attached with alot of extra work that pushes away the "fun" stuff

user15026
@Wipqozn CSQ can be tricky, yes

user15026
For Family class sponsorship, they make you take specific courses from specific places when you arrive to make you learn French enough for their liking, if they feel you can do it

user15026
But I know tehy can be somewhat draconian in how they view you "knowing enough", and this is a sad example of that

user15026
@Wipqozn I am glad people are taking this seriously, at least the Armed Forces seem to be

@Yuuki that's their same defence for Obstruction of Justice

@TimStone haven't they been trailing this for a few months now?
@TimStone wait, so what's the point of the democrat debates that's been happening and weeding out those who don't get the poll numbers/funding?

Kshama appears to have won her seat in Seattle once again
Up about 1500 with about 2200 left to count total

5:08 AM
> everyone disliked that
@TimStone billionaires are quite mad at the prospect of having a nominal tax applied to their wealth
@Memor-X these big names can get in the race but won't make the next debate

"After Radio-Canada broke the story Thursday, Immigration Minister Simon Jolin-Barrette said the situation made no sense, and asked officials to reopen Dubois' file. She was later informed she would receive the certificate."

@Ash Good. THank you CBC.

user15026
@Wipqozn Yeah, I was happy to hear that it worked out for her.

user15026
I think the Quebec language rules are kinda draconian in general, and this just kinda proved it.

6:40 PM
@Ash It really does

@TimStone Fuck Christian schools, honestly. They're always doing shit like this. I hope they get slapped with a discrimination lawsuit. They won't, but they damn well should.
Actually are LGB even a protected class in the US anymore?

@Wipqozn varies state to state
trans people are also protected in some states and not others

A Barrington, N.S., man has been charged in the drug overdose death of a 19-year-old woman last year. cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/…
Via reddit comment of someone that knew her
Can't get this to multiline
But basically he's a pedophile rapist
> it was her ex boyfriend, not her drug dealer. he got her addicted to coke at 15 years old, when he was charged with things related to her being a minor. he was 24, she was 15.
> he gave her drugs, left her there to die because he was a coward and was afraid of being caught. him and his new girlfriend are also the main source of drugs for the community. they mention she dreamed of seeing the world, because she was actually a very intelligent young girl who achieved a lot and travelled a lot at just 19 years old.
Throw the book at him. Literally. As in, let's just throw hard cover books at him all day. Hope he spends the rest of his life in prison.

@GodEmperorDune AFAIK, the democrats voted through a bill that grants extension of equal rights to LGBT people, but Graveyard Mitch never voted on it as he did with so many other bills passed by the House. Meanwhile, the Trump admin is constantly making decisions that go against LGBT rights.

11:25 PM
@Nzall wasn't there also a Supreme Court Case going on about a trans employee being fired because they came out as trans and there were arguments that the current anti-discrimination laws didn't cover tranns people?

That's a novel money snuggling approach. The article doesn't address why they might have been acting nervous about trying to smuggle the money though
