@Wipqozn It's not as much the pillow company as Lindell's close ties to Trump, both during the election campaign and during the administration. Lindell invoked Trump as being put there by God and was a close non-governmental advisor. He frequently visited the Trump White House and was present at multiple bill signings.

I think that's an appropriate punishment. True, he did cost millions of people their life savings, but it means that eventually he'll be able to leave prison and maybe build up his life again. I think most of what he did was not necessarily malice, but rather incompetence and inexperience with leading a business of that scale
