I would agree with copyright no longer expiring, BUT it would have to come with a comprehensive "fair use" regulatory framework, which at a baseline assumes "everything is permitted without charge unless the copyright holder establishes a clear set of rules that other creators can use to make related works and how much those cost"
So instead of the current system where there are a narrow set of vaguely defined rules that require legal battles to define and everything else is banned, right holders must establish clear rules about what their property can NOT be used for, but beyond that all companies can do is establish a reasonable payment standard
