> Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the government will investigate claims former prime minister Scott Morrison secretly gave himself powers to jointly run the health, finance and resources ministries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
on the one hand you might think this would be a good idea doing a pandemic which would see said positions without their ministers if they got COVID. but then you remember this is the kind of thing is like a power grab we see in non-democratic countries
> The mother of a cancer patient being treated at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital said she was blocked by anti-vax protesters from entering the hospital over the weekend.

Karly Kirk, who had to be guided into the hospital, is now backing calls for protest exclusion zones to be implemented around major hospitals.

She was attempting to visit her 11-year-old daughter, Darcy, who is undergoing chemotherapy for a rare blood cancer.

...

While the protesters claim they didn't block the entrance to the hospital, videos show police officers having to flag cars through the crowd of around 2
you can be a sceptic about vaccines all you want but if your taking that to blocking people from entering hospitals, even that of parents trying to visit their immunocompromised children you're not being a vaccine sceptic, you're being a fuck head
and yeh i'd say the same for any protest that gets in the way of ambulances or hospitals like that. i'm all for climate protests but i draw the line when it comes to impeding other's health

@Memor-X Many of these vaccine sceptics have no problems AT ALL accepting medicinal help from therapeutics that have significantly less proven value

3:27 PM
@Memor-X Reminds me of a Q dummy here in quebec that, a few weeks ago, once again did the IF THE HOSPITALS ARE 'FULL' WHY IS THE EMERGENCY WAITING ROOM SO EMPTY
So what is he doing there? He spent the last 2 years saying everyone that works in the health industry are murderers

Armed Trump supporters protest outside FBI office in Phoenix independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/…

(oh noes, people protesting government!)
In all seriousness though, I wish it wasn't all Trumpers going after the FBI. It makes anyone who distrusts law enforcement look bad.

@forest I mean when you show up armed with assault rifles and bullet proof vests, you're less a protest and more like a militia.

Are they shooting at anyone?
Or are they exercising their 1st and 2nd Amendment rights?
