> Logan Paul has doubled down on his plan to become US President and wants to make brother Jake the Secretary of Defence.

YouTube boxer Paul has previously outlined his plans to run for US Presidency, believing that the country needs a leader who is more authentic and creative. He will have to hold off until 2032 to do so, as US law states the minimum age to run for Presidency is 35.
DOES ANYONE HAVE THE BLACK MATERIA! WE NEED THE BLACK MATERIA FOR PLAN B!

@Wipqozn In some sense it would be hilarious. In most others it would be terrifying
but hey, we just had the proof that the US can run without a competent president relatively fine
but hey that would need for him to stay relevant until 2032, which since his popularity is already a shadow of his former self, I doubt

@Nzall I love it

> Thirteen children were taken by ambulance or bus to Uvalde Memorial Hospital after an active shooter was reported at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 85 miles west of San Antonio, officials with the hospital said. The health of the children is unclear as is whether the dead are included in that count.
How does this shit keep happening.

I have become so numb that the headline hardly grabbed my attention.

Where's that onion article that'll never stop being relevant

I remember sitting at the television with my family in Iowa just sobbing after Columbine.
Now it's just an everyday thing
Ironically I'm here procrastinating because I should be writing a paper for my legal ethics class about defending a mass murderer.

@Wipqozn Just read that there are 15 dead (twitter.com/Acosta/status/1529200705495605249)

> But an investigation by CNN offers new evidence — including two videos of the scene of the shooting — that there was no active combat, nor any Palestinian militants, near Abu Akleh in the moments leading up to her death. Videos obtained by CNN, corroborated by testimony from eight eyewitnesses, an audio forensic analyst and an explosive weapons expert, suggest that Abu Akleh was shot dead in a targeted attack by Israeli forces.

> The National Rifle Association’s annual meeting is set to be held in Houston starting on Friday. Former President Donald J. Trump, Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and Senator Ted Cruz are among those scheduled to address the gathering.

@MadScientist Yeah I see that. It's unbelievable just how frequently this is happening now, with seemingly no desire from large parts of the country to fix it.
> It was the deadliest elementary school shooting since...
That's a sentence which should never need to be said, holy moly

@Wipqozn but what makes it worse is that it's said so dam often when it's the US

10:47 PM
@Wipqozn someone on Discord posted it as you'd expect
