@Fredy31 that's what i saw it translated to
> Amid unrest from her fellow senators, Hanson dramatically took off the veil, saying "I'm quite happy to remove this because it's not what should belong in this parliament."

Hanson then asked Attorney General George Brandis, if "in light of what is happening with national security... will you work to ban the burqa?"
from the previous ABC News Article
> "Scott Morrison may not be able to control state borders but he can shut the gate to the foreign arrivals who have been bringing COVID-19 to our shores."
one of her policies is anti-immigration
"shut the gate to the foreign arrivals" has zero to do with COVID Prevention or Health, she just wants to stop foreign arrivals in general

this a is legal decision from a Trump approved judge with NASTY consequences
Essentially, this court just made it so most government agencies that were created by congress are unconstitutional
Like, they just declared unconstitutional agencies like the FTC, the SEC, the FCC and other agencies that were created so the government didn't have to make laws for every separate thing and could react to real world event with faster rules making

Turkey is committed to declining NATO membership to Sweden and Finland reuters.com/world/…
> The Turkish president said Sweden and Finland harbour and finance "terrorists" and supply them with weapons, repeating Ankara's accusation that the countries supports groups that it deems terrorists, namely the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group and Syrian Kurdish YPG, which it also views as a terrorist group closely tied to the PKK.

@Wipqozn ahhh turkey
kinda wonder if some people will want to throw turkey out of the EU... they really show that they are not in the same mentality as the rest of EU
mostly by the fact that they are with a totalitarian regime.

@Fredy31 Turkey isn't even in the EU
They're in NATO
They were one of the earlier third nations to join NATO, back when they weren't as much of a dictatorship

Oh yeah, nato. Coffee is taking its sweet time to kick in
but yeah, if we are talking about NATO they are really showing they are kind of a mole more than anything else
like NATO is not really secretly an alliance to keep russia in check
and they show that they are, as of now, on the side of russia
