@TimStone assuming fear of COVID-19 doesn't keep people away for fear that they'll be too close to people

@Stormblessed i would say almost half going by the share News Crop had in the Australian Associative Press (+40%) which provided free press to other media outlets. Nine Entertainment Co. which is owned by the Packer family owned another +40% of it and the rest with Seven West Media (who half own Yahoo7 with Yahoo)

Boris Johnson is in the hospital, they say it's just a precaution
I'm not entirely sure I'd believe that, I would suspect that they'd hesitate to do that right now unless they are actually worried

Cuomo's numbers yesterday seem... odd
He was saying 600 new hospitalized in the state
NYC reported 900

Hmm lot of talk about whether Bernie should stay in or drop out but if I were Bernie Sanders I would simply make my coronavirus mask a realistic Biden costume and take his place after locking him up with four years' supply of ice cream
Ah imagine being outsmarted by a thing that's literally not alive

> That’s what the State’s Governor, Phil Murphy, apparently meant today, when he said at a press conference that the State needed volunteers who with “Cobalt” computer skills to help fix 40-year-old-plus unemployment insurance systems that are currently overwhelmed as a result of COVID-19-related job losses.
I, for one, am shocked that the government hasn't properly invested and maintained it's infrastructure for helping those in need, and I'm equally shocked they refuse to pay anyone to fix it.
Also finding COBOL programmers willing to work for free is rather laughable. No one with experience in COBOL is looking for any sort of work. They're all getting paid truckloads in the banking industry, which is built on languages like COBOL.

So sad

@Unionhawk numbers are all behind each other
I saw that the CDC’s numbers for deaths are like 2000 behind what the Washington Post has calculated
Counting is really hard when there are limited tests
@Wipqozn New York does too
Er Connecticut
And you need a fax machine to apply (in New York)
