@BunsGlazing there is a difference I think between "I created this for the sake of art" and "I created this because I am producing art as a service", although "I am creating art for the sake of art" still doesn't mean you should get to be a shit heel and express harmful bigoted stuff.

(I was trained in some restraint stuff as a personal support worker, but it was always phrased as absolute last resort, and if I ever used it with the agencies I worked with, the amount of paperwork and tracking and explanation and monitoring I would have gone through made it very much preferable to find alternate options when possible. I hate that not everywhere is like that.)

@Wipqozn I would feel the same way I do about them now, which is that they're stupid for not being willing to do that, but I don't think they should get in legal trouble. I'm sure it's not hard to find an artist who doesn't hold the same beliefs

They are doing art for weddings, they probably don't feel comfortable creatively expressing that, but I mean a restaurant is just food service they have no excuse
