@BalarkaSen Could you teach me the integral representations of the Delta function and it's applications in proving Parseval's theorem and stuff this weekend (if you're free)? I don't know that stuff well and can't find many sources

We could decide on a time, when you'll be free

@Blue I can tell you about the delta function and approximation to identity this weekend, sure. I don't know how to prove Parseval's theorem with it, however.
Not really an expert on Fourier analysis

@BalarkaSen I found a pdf which discusses the proof of Parseval's theorem: wwwf.imperial.ac.uk/~jdg/eeft3.pdf I was having a bit of difficulty with that. Let's discuss it on Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon (as you wish)

I need to learn Laplace transformations also, we can do that (Laplace) the week after next

Well I don't really want to learn this
I have too many other things I have to learn

@BalarkaSen Well, then you can just tell me about the delta function thing. I'll read up the rest myself

Is that okay?

3:42 PM
For sure

Thanks :)

Actually the proof of Parseval's theorem looks short and directly relates to how I think about delta functions
so maybe I'll read that after all
