You said you've already met this other person. Have you had conversations so far? How did it went? — Arthur Hv 18 secs ago

Is this about starting an interaction or continuing/discontinuing it depending on the signs you get after you've started? Are there any signs you already are able to recognize as being signs sent to you, to encourage or discourage (further) interaction? Knowing what you already know would help focus answers on the things you don't know yet. — Tinkeringbell ♦ 1 min ago

Hi and welcome to Stack Exchange! This looks more like a comment and not an answer. That's why it got downvoted. Consider writing comments in the comments and not the answer section! — papakias 1 min ago

I’m voting to close this question because the motivation behind the question is clearly manipulative. In addition the OPs goals infringe on what I believe is the personal space of a third person. — Stian Yttervik 28 secs ago

Hi user! For us to help you improve your behavior, we need to know about what you did (in addition to what you were reacting to). What have you considered trying or how have you reacted to these jokes so far? I can see this other person is annoying you a lot, and the way you describe them right now would make a lot of people ask 'why can't you be rude if she's being rude too?'. What have you tried, or considered trying, to let her know this isn't okay, and what result did these actions have or why didn't you go through with them? — Tinkeringbell ♦ 1 min ago

I guess you should pick either of the two, and describe what signs you know and have seen in your coworker, for this to work. Otherwise, the answer might very well be that you're overthinking this, in which case this question is about intrapersonal matters and not interpersonal skills, which would be off-topic here. If you could clarify your question, it can probably be reopened. — Tinkeringbell ♦ 41 secs ago
