@KamilDrakari Oh I see what you mean. That'd be cool!
01:37
@TehPers > Has a period of 1260, the highest period a 3x3x3 cube can have for any given set of rotations.
What does "period" mean?
02:06
Never mind, figured it out
02:41
@TehPers @KamilDrakari anyone want to attempt this? I'm not sure it's possible
02:59
@MDXF Unfortunately, I can't think of a way. If an entire string could be stored as input and Cubically had an "execute" equivalent then it would be pretty trivial, but as-is I don't think there's even a way to store the input string such that the first move could be repeated once the last move is complete.
So unless there's an algorithm to find the answer without simulating it I don't think it's possible.
03:32
Yeah... if only input could be taken via pasting it into the source code :P then this would work: ~(<paste code here>-7)8%6) assuming input was empty

Q: Alphabet Diamond

Magic Octopus UrnAlphabet Diamond You've seen the amazing alphabet triangle, the revenge of the alphabet triangle and now it's time for the revenge of the revenge of the alphabet triangle! Introducing... THE ALPHABET DIAMOND! Your task is to output this exact text, lowercase/uppercase does not matter, though...

I'm almost 100% sure this is solvable in Cubically.
If anyone wants to tackle it, good luck!
Obviously you could just print the string using one of the generators, but that's no fun :P

A: What programming languages have been created by PPCG users?

MD XFCubically Cubically was created in 2017 by me, MD XF. It is built around the main piece of memory, a Rubik's Cube. To my knowledge there were (and are) no existing languages with a similar design. A 3x3x3 memory cube (the default) begins with this initialization: 000 (top face) ...

Oh btw I'm going to add an eval function to Cubically
@TehPers Trouble is storing the alphabet offset (the first letter to print) and the actual letter ASCII values at the same time
@TehPers Also not allowed, we have some kind of consensus on competitive answers and just printing the string is not considered competitive
