@Tinkeringbell I might have an explanation for this. I once traveled to Columbia where people were speaking "Latin Spanish". My English level was very good where my Spanish one wasn't really that good. However, when some people over there were trying to speak to me in English, I would quickly switch back to Spanish because their Spanish accent was so strong, I was unable to understand their English (while I was still able to understand their Spanish).

So, I'm thinking, maybe OP has a really terrible Dutch accent

@Ælis Hmm. I think that if they speak Dutch, their Indian accent/language profience is worse than for English, so people switch to English and stick with it... I don't know if that's the same point you were making ;)

Yep, vacation is over. After the weekend, I'll be back to work on Monday.

To be honest... I think I might be glad when vacation is over... it wasn't quiet enough. I'm now enjoying a quiet weekend and crochet :)

The holidays were nice. This last week had been quite lonely, though. I was back to work (remotely) and there were not many people to chat with in TAS. So, I'm glad everyone is coming back from their vacations :p
