But yeah, French politics are going terribly. They arrested 176 high school students yesterday, and made them get down on their knees, hands on their heads, weapons in their backs. We're shocked this happened. It reminded us of world wars and arbitrary executions. I think it's gonna be a tough weekend.
@AJ Ha? I'm not very surprised, I think gas prices are primarily decided by politics instead of their actual worth
@AJ That's true. But on the 95%, 98% of pacifist demonstrators, there's 3 to 5% remaining who just meld into any protest and use it as an excuse to be violent.
@AJ I wanted to attend the climate's march tomorrow. Now I'm afraid to see violence. Not that I'm afraid of getting hurt (I literally do not care about that), but because I couldn't stand watching people hurting
@avazula You know I've been in protests a couple of times. Not a violent one of course. This one time when some people started to abuse police, we called off the protest and settled the matter with police.
Well, some burglars broke into our shop and a couple of other shops in the same market and police refused to register the complaint. So, we started the protest. An officer at high rank assured us to register the complaint and catch culprits.
